C\u2019\u00e9tait une \u00e9tape sur ma route vers Francfort. Ce fut finalement l\u2019une des destinations allemandes que j\u2019ai pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e. Le centre historique, cach\u00e9 derri\u00e8re des barres d\u2019immeubles, est bien pr\u00e9serv\u00e9. J\u2019ai beaucoup aim\u00e9 l\u2019ambiance familiale et tranquille de la ville, dot\u00e9e aussi de quelques lieux alternatifs. On s\u2019y sent tout simplement bien. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Erfurt est au c\u0153ur de l&rsquo;Allemagne, dans la r\u00e9gion de Thuringe. Entour\u00e9e de collines, de champs et de for\u00eats, elle est travers\u00e9e par la rivi\u00e8re Gera et comprend de nombreux espaces verts.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au Moyen \u00c2ge, Erfurt \u00e9tait l&rsquo;une des villes les plus riches et les plus influentes du Saint Empire romain germanique en raison de sa position strat\u00e9gique sur les routes commerciales. Elle \u00e9tait un centre important pour l&rsquo;artisanat et l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation. Son universit\u00e9 fond\u00e9e en 1392 est l&rsquo;une des plus anciennes d&rsquo;Allemagne. Au fil des si\u00e8cles, Erfurt a connu des p\u00e9riodes de prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de turbulences, notamment pendant la R\u00e9forme protestante. De fait, Martin Luther a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 d&rsquo;Erfurt et a \u00e9t\u00e9 ordonn\u00e9 pr\u00eatre dans la cath\u00e9drale Erig\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de 1665 pour abriter l&rsquo;\u00e9lectorat de Mayence, elle couvre 36 hectares. Elle fut utilis\u00e9e \u00e0 des fins militaires jusqu\u2019en 1963. Les diff\u00e9rents occupants su\u00e9dois, prussiens, fran\u00e7ais, allemands et sovi\u00e9tiques ont maintes fois modifi\u00e9 son apparence. C\u2019est aujourd\u2019hui un espace d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la culture et la d\u00e9tente. Apr\u00e8s avoir acc\u00e9d\u00e9 au sommeil de la colline par l&rsquo;ascenseur ou gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 vos jambes, vous b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiez d\u2019une belle vue sur Erfurt et ses alentours. Longez les remparts longs de 2 kilom\u00e8tres, et vous d\u00e9couvrirez un bar en plein air, un jardin communautaire et des aires de jeux pour enfants. Il y a \u00e9galement un caf\u00e9 panoramique, dont l\u2019architecture tranche avec les b\u00e2timents historiques de la citadelle. L\u2019imposante cath\u00e9drale domine la place principale (Domplatz) d\u2019Erfurt et offre une belle vue sur les toits de la ville. Il s\u2019agit ensuite de se perdre dans les ruelles bord\u00e9es de maisons \u00e0 colombages et d\u2019\u00e9glises m\u00e9di\u00e9vales. Ne manquez pas l\u2019ancienne synagogue et le couvent des Augustins, des \u00e9difices \u00e0 l\u2019architecture remarquable.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vous finirez par atteindre la rivi\u00e8re et le fameux pont surmont\u00e9 d\u2019habitations : le Krammerbr\u00fccke. Sa premi\u00e8re construction date de 1156. D\u00e9truit par un incendie en 1472, il est reconstruit et garde sa forme particuli\u00e8re que l\u2019on admire encore aujourd\u2019hui. Les 32 maisons qui le surmontent lui donnent tout son caract\u00e8re et font de lui une ic\u00f4ne de la ville.\u00a0 Hot Spot touristique, le pont accueille de nombreuses boutiques.
